Just for few bucks saving of shipping, I had to wait forever to get my order, kind of silly. I have ordered sennheiser twice from amazon.com at lexington ky. They shipped my first order pretty fast (in three days) because I payed the standard shipping, then I chose FREE with Super Saver Shipping when I placed the second order (hd 600), it took me about three weeks to get it. It never happened before at other locations of amazon.com.
THE HEADPHONES WERE A GREAT PRICE& VALUE AND AMAZON WAS VERY EASY TO DEAL WITH.
I have bought a total of four sets (two for gifts for family). There are maybe four or five headphones in the world better than these (including two others by Sennheiser), but those are each much expensive and/or compromised in other ways. The clarity is ear-opening so-to-speak, and will make you realize just how inadequate lesser headphones and earphones are. Feel confident buying these without hearing them. They are simply amazing. They will bring your I-pod to life, and make you start storing all of your music in uncompressed format because you will readily hear a significant difference between different levels of bitrate and compression on most music (if the original source file or master is good enough). A great way to take one of the few affordable tastes of high-end audio, and decide if you want to spend more on other components.
I freaking love these cans. I've had them for over six months now, and they sound fantasic.
I have had these phones several years now and they are excellent. I much prefer these for accuracy when compared to the veiled and unnaturally creamy sound of the HD650s which I ended up returning. The phones are also more comfortable to wear for long periods of time.
